Since the Marshall ruling in 1999, the Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government has been engaged in exercising its Aboriginal treaty rights by commercially fishing Snow Crab, Shrimp, Lobster, Mussels, Turbot, and Cod, with the use of communal fishing licenses.
